Nollyfemme Launches Inaugural Shorts Program for Female Filmmakers
Nollyfemme, an initiative dedicated to promoting and supporting the careers of women in the film industry, has partnered with Nollywire to introduce its inaugural shorts program. This program specifically highlights the work of both emerging and established female filmmakers within Nigeria’s film sector.
The organization expressed enthusiasm about the event, noting, “We are thrilled to present the NollyFemme Shorts Program, which showcases the incredible talent and creativity of female filmmakers. These selected short films reflect a wide range of perspectives and voices, underscoring the exceptional storytelling skills of women in the industry.”
Set under the theme “Evening of Escape,” the event is slated for later this month.
