Pre-Order Movie Tickets with Atlas by Reach – Launched with Wives on Strike 3
Nile Media Entertainment has introduced a cutting-edge voucher platform named ‘Atlas by Reach,’ in conjunction with the release of Omoni Oboli’s much-anticipated film, The Uprising: Wives on Strike 3. The Nile entertainment team shared the news through an announcement on their official Instagram page.
“We launched a foremost and innovative voucher system for producers and filmmakers across Nigeria and beyond. The voucher system called ‘Atlas by Reach’ was launched with @omonioboli’s highly anticipated ‘THE UPRISING: Wives on Strike 3’ film and it makes it easy to pre-order tickets before showtime. Anyone (Influencers, Celebrities, Staff, Lovers etc.) can buy tickets to a movie in advance, they can also gift the tickets to others,” the post said.
Moses Babatope, the CEO of Nile Media Entertainment Group, emphasized that this initiative is expected to drive ticket sales and positively impact the economy.
“This innovation has the potential to grow admissions, increase sales and further boost the nation’s economy. The time to push boundaries, set trends, redefine and transform media entertainment is now, and we are at the forefront of this. It is indeed a big win for us to launch a groundbreaking innovation for the Nollywood industry. Pre-selling for upcoming films is now a reality, eliminating the need to wait for showtime before getting tickets,” he said.
On July 10, 2024, Omoni Oboli revealed a teaser for the third part of the Wives on Strike series. The first movie in this franchise was released in 2016, followed by a sequel, Wives on Strike: The Revolution, in 2018.

The storyline focuses on a group of women who refuse intimacy with their husbands to compel them to take action on behalf of a young girl forced into marriage by her father. This movement also highlights the broader issue of gender-based violence within the community. While the film is comedic, it addresses serious societal issues faced by women. Set to premiere in cinemas on October 18, 2024, Wives on Strike features a star-studded cast that includes Chioma Akpotha, Uche Jombo, Omoni Oboli, Ufuoma McDermott, Hilda Dokubo, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori (KieKie), and May Yul-Edochie.
